What is a zine?
A collaborative project that encompasses both art and writing revolving around a certain subject.
What is the theme of this zine?
This zine is here to celebrate all the villains and antagonists in the Cookie Run Series!
How much will the zine cost?
Nothing! This zine is a passion project so it will be both free and digital so that anyone can download and enjoy it! Depending on the Interest Check, there is a potential of a physical run that will run alongside the digital version. Stay tuned for more info!
Do I need a Discord account to join?
Yes, as it will be the main form of communication.
Can writers apply?
Writers are welcome, even encouraged!
What are the specs of the zine?
For Page Artists: the pages will be in A4 (210 x 297 mm or 8.3”x11.7”) with a DPI of 300 or greater.
For Writers: they will be expected to write about 1500 to 3000 words for their piece, with a 500 word leeway. Both fanfiction and non-fiction (diary entries, correspondence letters, etc.) are allowed.
For Merch Artists: they will be expected to create a few digital items based on the results of the Interest Check.
Are AUs allowed?
Yes, AUs are allowed as long as the original character is and stays as a villain.
Do villain costumes of protagonists count?
No, villainous costumes of protagonists similar to Cream Puff’s or Sea Fairy’s are not allowed in the project.
Is there an age requirement to participate?
All contributors and moderators must be 18+ by the time contributor apps open. Anyone caught lying about their age is subjected to complete removal from the project. Thank you!
Is shipping allowed?
No, as the theme doesn't allow it.Are OCs allowed?
Yes! As long as the focus remains on a canon character from the games, OCs are allowed.
Can I sign-up to more than one position?
Yes, you can! You can sign up as many positions as you want, but you will only be accepted into one role.

Please submit your top three pieces as separate links with their proper warnings if needed.
The pieces don't have to be Cookie Run fanworks, but is recommended.
Make sure that at least one of them includes a background that isn't abstract.
Writer

The word limit is between 1.5-3k words with a leeway of 500 words. Excerpts are welcomed, but one sample must be completed.
